Giving Back

We are committed to giving back to our communities where we work and live, with a focus on our local nonprofit organizations. While our objective is to always contribute to their success, we never forget how important they are to our success and the livability of our society.

Stepping Stones

Through our Stepping Stones program we offer support to a wide variety of local nonprofits in our community. Annually, we donate 2.5% in cash, or 5% in products and services, to enrolled 501c1, 501c3, 501c4, 501c6, 501c10, 501c14, 501c19, and 501c29 organizations based on their annual spending with GISI. Our goal is to lessen a nonprofit’s expenses so they can better serve the community for the long-term.

Enrollment in Stepping Stones is easy. Registered nonprofit organizations with an active credit account with GISI qualify. You can download a copy of the Stepping Stones application here. If you have additional questions, just let us know.

Volunteer

Our associates are encouraged to participate in company-sponsored volunteer opportunities with local area nonprofit partners. Donating our time and talents gives our team members an opportunity to create positive change in their local communities, while growing closer as a team.

GISI regularly donates to our nonprofit partners through trade sponsorships and/or donation of products and services.
